Computype, a global leader in labeling and traceability solutions, needed a brand identity that could communicate precision and innovation without sacrificing warmth or approachability. Their legacy brand no longer reflected their forward-looking position in a rapidly digitizing industry. The challenge was to modernize the brand system while preserving the company’s credibility and sense of trust built over decades.

As lead designer and art director, I developed a comprehensive rebrand that united Computype’s strategy, identity, and visual language, including:

  • A new compass-inspired mark, symbolizing direction, precision, and partnership.

  • A refined color system balancing technical teal with grounded neutrals for an intelligent, modern tone.

  • A full brand guide detailing logo usage, tone of voice, photography, and graphic systems.

  • Application of the identity across print, digital, environmental, and product touchpoints — from web to trade show materials to interior spaces.

This system positioned Computype as both a reliable industrial partner and an innovative technology brand.
